Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT ccTLD is really popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming creative and interesting domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to have an easy-to-remember domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to give it with associates and friends. The TLD can also be used for a website, which is linked to the information technology sector given that IT is an abbreviation, which is recognized all over the globe.

As dot IT domains are not provided directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that handles this TLD, such a domain can be purchased through a 3rd-party firm, such as ours.
